ASAC Winterweek 14-21 Maart

Now that it is slowly getting colder and the last ASAC weekends are behind us, it is time to let the winter mountaineer in you come out! This year, for the first time in years, the ASAC is organising a winter week. This week is intended for both touring and piste skiers and will take place from 14 to 21 March in Jean d’Arves, France.

It is not a course week, and is therefore only suitable for people who can ski independently on pistes and/or tour skis (T1/T2 level). There will be no guide or alpine instructor present: participation is entirely at your own risk.

Where?

In Jean d’Arves, France, we have a chalet with room for up to 25 people. This chalet is only an 8-minute drive from Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves and 38 minutes from La Toussuire. The surrounding area also offers excellent ski touring opportunities. More information about ski touring options will be published later.

Food and drinks

We will arrange dinner and breakfast! We will cook together, so everyone is expected to pitch in. You will need to bring your own lunch, snacks and food for trips, at your own expense. Dinner will be vegetarian with a vegan option. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let the committee know in advance so we can take this into account.

Costs

The winter week will cost between €150 and €200. This amount includes accommodation and food. All other costs, such as transport, equipment hire and ski passes, are not included.

Registration

Registration is now open! Register quickly because places are limited.
