Vamos a España, Siurana & Margalef 🇪🇸

Siurana is one of Europe’s most famous sport climbing destinations, known for its stunning limestone cliffs and technical, endurance-based routes. The climbing is generally steep and pocketed, with long sequences that demand strong fingers, good footwork, and solid power-endurance. With hundreds of routes across a wide range of grades and breathtaking views over the valley, Siurana offers world-class climbing in a beautiful, remote setting.

The camping is in Siurana, if you don’t mind a short drive (55min), you can also go to Margalef, which also offers great climbing area’s:

Margalef is an unique sport climbing area, famous for its conglomerate rock full of pockets and holes. The climbing is very three-dimensional and gymnastic, with powerful moves between big, rounded pockets that test finger strength and coordination. Routes are often steep but friendly on the skin, making Margalef a perfect place for dynamic, fun climbing in a relaxed rural setting.

Margalef is also accessible for beginners, with plenty of well-bolted routes in the 4 to 6b range, especially in sectors like Can Pesafigues, Espadelles, and Racó de la Finestra.

Departure: 25 April 2026 (or Friday the 24th, if you prefer driving in 2 days. It is a long drive, so we recommend doing this)
